OftaCreations is founded by Ger Vijfvinkel and Frank Ruseler
Ger Vijfvinkel has led over 45 years of innovations in ophthalmic surgical techniques, instruments and equipment, which are still a standard in today’s surgical procedures.
Ger was founder and president of DORC from 1983 till 2009 and DORC Board Advisor on R&D and market development (2009-2013). He founded Oftavinci Research and was its CEO from 2013 till 2017. At Vitreq, he was research advisor for Vitreq from 2017 until 2022.
Frank Ruseler has over 30 years of experience in the worldwide marketing & sales, worldwide KOL and general management and new business development in the ophthalmic surgical medical device
industry. Frank drives surgical ophthalmic innovations from product ideas to final commercial products,
including worldwide market introductions. He joined DORC in 1993 and has been DORC’s Global Business Development Director until 2014. Frank co-founded Vitreq and was CEO from 2014 till 2022.
